Goals: 8 Assists: 4 Blocks: 7

MLU Experience: 1

A rookie addition to the Portland Stags roster in 2016, Franer immediately made his presence known in the Western Conference, doing his part to take the Stags to their first MLU Championship appearance. Despite Portland’s veteran core and established depth, Franer finished with the 10th most points played (122) on the team last season, playing primarily on the D-line.

A 24-year old out of Lewis & Clark College, Franer finished his rookie season having scored eight goals, thrown four assists and tallied seven blocks for the Stags, all while completing 97.6% of his attempted throws. A promising young talent, it was no surprise when the Stags made Franer one of their first re-signings for the 2017 season.
